Kids First DCSD is a group of Douglas County parents, teachers and community members dedicated to ensuring that the leaders of Douglas County School District prioritize kids first in all decision making.

Description:

The goal of Kids First DCSD is to make Douglas County School District an exemplary public school system and a destination district for families, students and employees. It is time to put Douglas County kids first and get politics out of our schools.

We will keep the community aware of district business through watch groups and will use social media, board meeting public comment, letters to the editor, email campaigns and board director elections to effect change. We value principle based leadership, honoring parent choice, respecting educational professionals and high-quality public schools.
